EarthWalk’s educational philosophy is based on deep nature connection as the foundation for all learning, supported by a vibrant and caring community.
EarthWalk's summer camps take place in Hawthorn Meadow on the Goddard College campus in Plainfield. The forest trails, Winooski River access, cob oven, shelters, and magical land all create the perfect place for a fun summer day camp!
Each day of camp begins and ends with a community circle of shared songs and stories. Mornings start off with peer groups, deepening sensory awareness, naturalist and camp-craft skills. In the afternoons, campers choose from a diversity of multi-aged workshop choices. Discover summer camp workshop options here.
Some of the activities we offer at camp, are: nature games, bow-drill friction-fire, singing, storytelling, foraging, exploring, cob oven baking, stewardship projects, crafts, wood carving, shelter-building, naturalist skills, river exploration, wildlife tracking and more!
EarthWalk's Core Routines are infused into each camp day. Learn more about these guiding principles.
